Wholesome Harvest with Maya

Whisking and chopping away, I combined my love for stirring up new recipes and my passion for videography in my cooking show that I produced at during my time at Newburyport Community Media Center. The episodes were filmed in the industrial-style kitchen of the Newburyport Senior Center, just next door. The show partnered with Nourishing the North Shore (NTNS), an organization that deals with food insecurity and provides CSA food boxes to its members. For each episode, NTNS provided me with seasonal veggies from local farms, and I created healthy and hearty recipes based on those fresh ingredients. Tany, who is the Executive Director at NTNS joined in for each episode to share info about her company and the upcoming events they organize. I produced, cooked, edited, and wrote the scripts for these videos.
